Edgerton was born in South Bend Indiana. He is 6 ft 2 in and weighs 185 lb. During a 3-year baseball career Edgerton compiled 1 win 11 strikeouts and a 4.79 earned run average. Following his majors career Edgerton pitched in the Orioles and Dodgers Minor league systems.
